I noticed they are kinda thin...im scared to get them painted. I also noticed that fiberglass never sits perfect. kinda have to force them to shape the lights a little.

anyway, my friend suggested to get automotive 3m tape. but I should first clean and use alcohol on the headlights to clean them reaaaaaaally good. He said the automotive 3m should hold for a loooong time.

I'm just curious how others have installed them?

 

do your eyelids come over the headlight?

 

well yeah, but what i noticed (like other eyelids) they dont sit under the hood a little like that white modern image lancer.....

 

I have the carbon fiber ones and they go over the top of the headlight and the hood closes on them.

 

I just intalled my cf ones. I used 3m double sided molding tape, the same kind you would use for putting one emblems and molding. They aren't coming off until I take em off. They look good, I just wish they were bigger, like the size of my old vinyl ones. They do go over the headlights.
