That looks great! How much was the part for the "Lancer" Evo badge and do you have the part # handy at all from the wrapping the badge came in?

Sweat! I just ordered the "Lancer Evolution" badge from the trunk of the 8 from my dealer so that I could do the same thing but keep the "Evolution" part and put a "VII" next to it from a Evo 7. Great idea!

 

I dont have the packaging anymore but just have your dealer pull up the small lancer badge under parts for the evo.

 

OT, but isn't that kinda like putting the Si badge on a non-Si Civic?

 

I'd be inclined to agree about false advertising, although I kinda wanted to ****** a RS badge from an Evo VII to differentiate myself from other ES models.

Please try and hunt down a part number because some of our local parts departments are kinda clueless.

 

This is what makes people hate japanese cars and call them "ricey". its exactly like putting civic type r on a civic dx.

 

I'd have to agree... im against rice of any kind thats why i try to keep my car clean. Lets not let this car become a civic.....

 

definetly wouldnt dis the name evolution by puttin it on my grocery getter, that would be a bad imitation..id take the little lancer emblem tho.

Face it all we can't get the real EVO here. This isn't Japan. I know it sucks but you know.........don't do the "Type R Si " thing when you don't really have it. It's not original, it's fake.
