Pics Of My Fog Light Install................

Just wanted to share some pics. The lights I used were Hella Optilux 1500 that I found online for about $20. They are driving lights and definitely make a nice difference. I already got a few people flashing their brights at me. I wired them to my parking lights so that they stay on with the high and low beams or just the parking lights.

We used a level to get them perfectly horizontal but they are pretty bright.

I had some halogen apc fogs(very dum) but they helped a lot at night(I took them off now). Just so you know its illegal to have fogs on at the same time as brights are on. I had mine wired with side markers and when I got an inspection it failed. I had to wire in a relay so when brights turn on the fogs turned off. Just some info for you.

but if you dont have a picky inspection place your fine, I went to mitsu stealership.

people are flashing brights because fogs are supposed to aimed down toward the ground, they light up the road in front of the car, not the trees up ahead.

they're not supposed to be perfectly level, they'll for sure shine at other people like that

We don't have inspections here in Fl so I'm good with that.

I've done a bit of night driving since I installed them and have only had a very small # of people flash me. If I notice it a lot I'll move them down a bit.

Oh yeah,
