Question 9004's and 9007's

okay i just got in the mail some new headlight bulbs....for some reason they gave me 9004...instead of 9007's...but when i looked at these 2 type of lights...they were the same...i put them in and they fit just fine....nothing wrong, everything was good....is there a reason i should take these out...???

Are the wattages the same? Other than that, only thing I can think of, and this is remote, but maybe the length of the bulb itself MIGHT make an ever so SLIGHT difference in brightness, due to the amount of light reflecting within your housing. Other than that though, I can't think of anything. Pretty cool that 9004 and 9007 interchange, I guess.
