Well why not order it? Unless you want to have one custom made its your only realistic choice. Work on something else (like more show mods) and before you know it you'll have the hub and you'll be done.

its pretty nice lil piece to hold your laptop... i just throw mine in the passenger seat. Only draw backs i see, is that it is not easily detachable... and to me seems kind of obtrusive with the big plastic tube on it. but nice job

I bought an adapter for my alpine HU that converts the cd-changer input into RCA's. Pretty sure it works with any of their HU's, and mines an MP3 deck, so I don't need the changer.

Not sure I would mount my laptop like this, seems like a lot of leverage against the sheet metal under the dash. Maybe with another point going down to the floor or side of the center hump, just to give it a little more vertical stability. Great job tho

Mines a Pioneer DEH-(sumtin') and it has RCA's (& Mp3 too) but I think their for speakers?
I dunno... but what would I use or do with any of that?
I usually have my dad help me with such things, Im mechanicaly inclined but when it comes to wiring...........................Have fun, Ill be over here doin' sumtin' or other.

I thought the same thing at first, when I was still searching for where to mount it. That bar I mounted it too is pretty hard steel, and its welded below and up top to the rest of the frame, as one entire fixture, so it actually doesnt budge. I tugged on it even. Trust me this things really strong.

Thanx tho, Im glad you like it

Not at all, Look at the first completion picture, It doesnt go near my arm or hand.
I set it up in a position where the passanger doesnt lose any leg room, where its not up in anyones face, centered enough were the screen can be viewed by all passengers, and ESPECIALLY where I can shift freely, comfortably and without it getting in the way.
I just drive/shift normally, and my passangers have no problem either.

Btw... Whats "War-Driving"?

war driving is walking or driving around looking for open wifi networks to either steal internet access from or perform some malicious activities. there's a whole culture with it too, like when you find an area you tag (spray paint usually) it with special symbols that denote level of security, etc etc

check the laws, using an unencrypted wifi signal is not stealing. WEP and WPA are provided basically as 'do not enter' signs for a WLAN. It is only illegal to use an ecrypted network.
