took the lancer evolution emblems off of my brother's black Evo today using floss and goo gone. i left some scratches though, but i can buff them out later. It took a while to take off the glue, but it worked out ok. it looks more aggressive now.

You not works real well if you if you just apply it to the actual letters with a rag. Paint thinner. Goo gone didn't do anything for me. I just kept scrubbing with a wash cloth with a little pain thinner. It didn't hurt the paint and i didn't leave any sratches.

P.S. Thats not nessecarily glue on your trunks fellas. Its actually rubber cement and thats why goo gone and stuff isn't as effective.

Yeah I noticed when I finally did mine that the goo gone wasnt the best stuff for that kind of glue...but it worked ok. Sort of a pain but it came off. Left a tiny scratch but not very noticable.

For faster results, apply a lot of pressure with your thumbs going upward.
