I love the ipod, all the music i have, and every single family guy episode =p

 

I have an Evo MR with a Kenwood KDC-MP628. I ran a ipod interface directly to the external CD changer input on the deck. Place the ipod in the glove compartment and control it through the deck. Sound is killer.

 

Now that is a great idea... just using the ipod as a hard drive for your HU.

I like a HU interface much more than the ipod one.

 

That deck has an interface with the ipod, its made for it i beleive.

 

This setup works just fine for me. iPod plugged to the AUX input, and the protective case keeps it from moving anywhere. And I do agree that it is a b!tch to try and scroll and shift at the same time. I think I might have to look into a remote for the iPod.

 

I bought the iPod adapter for my Pioneer HU. I keep my iPod in the glove compartment....people don't know I have it until they see "iPod" on the screen.
