oh and about the muffler. Its not a bolt on. It has to be welded.
I'm going to check out this place near little ferry, nj on rt 46 to see how much it'll cost for a cat and custom pipe...or what my other options if any there are. Anyone have any ideas? Just the 3" muffler from um..."different trend" or something. Got it free, family friend sed it had a nice purr to it. Not too loud.

so about that - any ideas?

Buy RRM's high-flow cat that's on sale right now ($105 I believe) and get custom 2.25 piping back to that muffler you got. And if that quote from Midas is for custom piping 1st cat and back, install , and labor...that's a good deal in my book!

When i got my muffler welded on it cost 60 bucks and that was the cheapest I found.

My two favorite's are the K2 kit from RRM or the Kaminari kit. From what i've heard about Accolade, it's not that everything they do is bad, just a lot of it is.

But that would infer your kits are superior, which they arent. I have seen your kits they are carried by everyone and anyone... with the exception of a few designs you have wrapped in carbon fiber.

ok please no bashing. I know we're all enthusiasts and care about our products, but please...there can be opinionated statements one self's own stuff, but please no bashing.

anyway...the muffler pipe diameter is 3.25" or 3". should i just save for a cat? will it be just a bit cheaper if i get the cat now. I wasnt planning on it but if i get a cat and a pipe and have it installed with the muffler for only a little bit more...

btw: anyone know how to paint the black back on the stock oz rims? my front ones are chipping off but my rear ones are ok

I was going to leave you alone DAVE but we do not wrap in CF we mold bumpers in CF! We use the same molds for FG as we do Carbon Fiber so even our FG parts will come out smooth and waveless. I cannot comment on yours and won't! I will stick to hot chicks and you will............GOOD DAY!
