For me at least the reason I want to change my car is because I derive satisfaction out of what I do. I don't do it to impress anyone. It doesn't sound like you are doing the full evo7 exterior conversion because you want to cruise around telling everyone you are driving an evo. and who cares if someone thinks they smoked an evo if they raced you at a stop light. they obviously wouldn't know a ton about cars if they did. It seems like your car is style based, so let it be style based. despite what some members on here think, the car scene is just as much about style as it is about performance. and by saying that i mean the entire scene, more people mod their exteriors than their engines. personally, i'm much more interested in performance because thats what i want. That does not mean that I'm opposed to doing visual modifications because it can be fun to make your car stand out. Obviously you put a lot of effort into your car and I don't really have anything bad to say about it. It sounds like it probably looks pretty cool. As long as what you do is mainly geared towards satisfying you, it is genuine in my book.

you go girl! make your car as cool as you want, the way you want! as long as you like it there is no reason for you not to do it.
as for the evo badge, it would not look good on the car. if you want it bad, get the car it belongs to.

I mean I can see how people pay for other people's cars and there for have a right to tell them what they should and should not do to the car! Let people do what they want people! It's not like she is driving a civic with a GT-R badge or anything! The lancer does resemble an EVO anyway! Gezz you know what.... I give up! Except the lancer is not an evo. You can make a civic look like GT-R with a bodykit, I've actually seen it in an issue of "Import Tuner", but I'm sure we'd all call it rice.

sounds like your getting a little to excited. She did ask in post #1 to "tell me what you guys think"
Thats what everyone is doing... and most people agree. putting an evo badge on a lancer is pointless. Even if it is a conversion.....Unless you have engine and go the whole 9 yards. then mabey.
