maybe he was curious if they could do fiberglass because he was trying to get it cheaper and wasnt sure if it would be a "yea sure we could do that for you" or a "sorry man, we arent set up for that"

Nope...the painter would add a "flex agent" to the paint so that it wouldn't crack.

On a side note, the Kami kit is the only one I'd consider because it is made of pu.

sounds like a good way to go. IMO, either orange w/ darker wheels (gunmetal or flat black) or blue w/ bronze wheels would be sweet. also, if you get the evo wing w/ carbon fibre, a cf evo hood would be nice.

kami kit, orange, carbon fibre and dark wheels =

most newer paints actually dont need this, they just tell you this to charge you more sucks.

I grew up in a bodyshop (well, not in it technically...that would just be sad) , but that was a long time ago. Thanks for the correction...didn't know that it wasn't necessary anymore.

Are you sure? When I repainted my bumper, I still had to add the "flex" additive to the paint before using it. I could have been scammed, but I thought you still needed to mix whatever additives you needed for the paint's characteristics
