Anyone have a hood scoop like this on their lancer?

I've comtemplated buying an evo style hood scoop such as the one i've posted. anyone think this is a dumb idea? if i'm just going for style more so than functional. Anyone think it'd look good?

i don't like that much Chris, but hey do what you want if you are going for style though I would at least have it molded into the hood so it doesn't look so 3M taped on, LOL!!!

those are pretty ugly. imo.

You might as well slap a huge tear vinyl down the side of your car. Then get led washer nozzles and led valve stem covers.

^^ Haha tireflys. I love those things, just not on my car.

I dunno about the scoop dude. If you do get one, like BensLancer said, have it molded on.

Yeah a scoop is more like what subarus have. Personally I actually like the idea of a real scoop like what RRM/carbontrix offers since for us northerners it doesn't have the risk of water/snow intake that vents have.

uh, why the hell would you rush it then, if you dont have the money why do something you kinda like when what you should do is wait, save up the money, and get what you want.

i dont understand why you would even think of going so half-***'d, thats what makes cars ugly

if you make it functionnal then go for it. But that means you'll have to cut open you hood, do some body work so the vent blends properly in the hood, then have a shop paint it. If you do it right, it will look like a whole aftermarket hood.
