if your painter knows how to mix paint properly, then there should be no differance in the color. all the top paint companies (spies hecker, BASF, dupont) have mixing charts with about 3-4 differant ways to mix the same color with differant variences to match perfectly with your color. blending isnt always nessesary

There will always be a difference in the color b/c the paint on the car has already aged, whether if it was only for a day or for years. Thus is why blending is always nececssary on any paint job.

If u dont believe me go to a body shop.

Lightbulb

Could they not to a paint chip swatch to match the paint? That's how my lightning yellow was done on my hood since the car had been baked since I have not had a garage since moving from Michigan. It was very could not even tell and I was looking hard at it too. They didn't tell me that's what they did until after I came back into the office. Actually I'm just gonna get my whole car repainted except for my CF hood if I can ever get it from SEIBON. You all know there is a CF shortage cause of the Iraq crap?
