I've been a rally fan before I even had a car. So naturally I decided to style/mod my car with subttle rally accents and parts. Keep in mind this will consist of practical mods (engine/suspension) because I will be and currently do rallycross, autocross and TSD Rally. Now I know most of you will say well should of just got an EVO....well that would of been nice. Anyway, so I was wondering if there were any other lancer owners going for the "rally look"?

 

Not sure what you mean by a "rally look." You talking about ralliart products or legit rally, with a rollcage, BEEF'd up suspension, tires, stripped interior, and a navigator in the passenger seat? According to youre list of mods, there are tons of people going for the "rally look."

 

Legit rally.....I understand my list of mods does not reflect a rally inspired vehicle......yet!

i think it would b much better if u were acually gonna rally it...or at least semi offroad it. lol. but go for it..mudflaps and big *** fog lamps.lol. makse sure u post pics

Wow, use your imagination a lil! Yeah big fogs, flaps, beefed suspension, ect.... I don't mean a full blown rally car, but something that looks rally inspired. there is a 04 lancer i think around with big fog light bars that attach to license plate bolts. He rallys his car. It looked pretty good actually. you might wanna search for that thread. I love rally as well but the rally mods as said above (fogs/mudflaps/etc) just dont go with what else I want.

Ive seen a GLI around here with mudflaps painted to match the car(red). They look very good and dont look as cheap as plain black ones. get an older like evo VI style wing... look very rallyish.

I guess I didnt really answer the question in all that. Im not goin for rally look.
