Lightbulb Custom Install RRM grill

After installin the grill yesterday, i decided that i needed to do something different to it make it look more EvoVII.

So i painted the mesh black and mounted it on the back side of the grill mount and installed the RRM grill.

It adds depth to the grill and makes it look much more EVOVII, also you can drill a hole in the middle of the grill mount jerry rig a riser piece and add a lifted emblem for the total EvoVII lookin package.

This modification makes the grill look 1000% better, along with having the eyelets on the grill painted black, so you cannot see them. I am pleased with the idea, makes it look better, and as soon as i have the time i will mound the symbol in the middle with the riser piece so it looks Evo ill attach the before and after images...

as you can notice in the picture the little pillar piece in the middle of the grill...that is where i am going to mount the "floating" emblem for the evoVII look.

Nice job on the install. Is this the second gen, rrm grill. I don't see the usual gap at the top? Also, do you think it would be possible to remove the "eyelets" entirely.

Thanks for the feedback ya'll. I wasnt too big of a fan of the original install, if you look at the pic the mesh looks a little wavy from the center piece of the hood. New setup looks much more clean

Ive had the seat covers since last summer when i used to work in the garden dept. of home depot, drive home very dirty, and i wanted to keep the seats lookin nice. This summer i should have the black/yellow Momos so the covers will be gone. (nice atmosphere with my Hawaiian beads and coconut scent!?!

Im very happy with the look now, even though fitament and drill and all kinds of other stuff had to be done to make the bloody thing fit! Again thx ya'll!

it must be a new one, it doesn't have the visible screws.

i agree that it does look a lot better.
