I got the greddy muffler and resonator from RRM and had a shop do some 2.25" piping and it sounds great on my 02 auto.

I got a muffler 30$ on ebay after shipping..... 3 1/2 inch it sounds deep and isnt extremely loud it sounds perfect i think. Maybe a little loud but the silencer it came with does the job.

 

no the piping is normal about from the axel back it gets bigger but serious a great deep sound

 

Get a magnaflow muffler, weld on custom axleback, get custom midpipe(2.25), and keep the stock cat and get new headers that comes with a downpipe

Thats your best bet and more affordable, personally i dont see why people change the cat

 

the stock cat sucks is why... high flow is better imo.
would the test tube would make the magnaflow loud in place of the cat?

 

yes.

You only really need or should upgrade to a HFC (high flow cat) once your turbo or supercharged. other things that would help more that you can buy.....

 

our engines don't benefit from a high flow cat, just like how they don't benefit much from larger exhaust piping.
