hey....need help finding an exhaust

I have a 03 lancer es, automatic....i want an exhaust, something thats not very big or loud, maybe a deep low pitch sound, my main goal is for it to sound good with an automatic transmission, and i also dont want it to sound like a ricer, im kinda a newb with lancers and not the best when it comes to working on engines so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great

here's my car, still working on making it look better, i have a k style body kit but im undecided if im gonna put it on or not

my newest add on, HID conversion...i love it

Magnaflow catback. Visit RRM's site. Also, the search feature on this forum does work pretty well too I might add. This topic has been covered probably 473 times.

you can always go the custom route. get a nice quality muffler from a respected company and have a muffler shop make u some custom piping. its a lot cheaper but just make sure to go to a good shop.

looks like your car is pheonix red.........although es's do not come in that color .. Mabey its just the sun in the pics. *confused*

car looks good. The magnaflow cat-back exhaust sounds great. Ive heard sound clips and its real deep low tone... not "ricey". I just ordered mine from RRM for my 03 auto oz in fact.

My opinion- Put the kit on.. That is one of the sexiest kits around. it will look great.

IF you dont want anything too big nor too loud, then I would strongly suggest the magnaflow exhaust. If you are looking to save a few dimes then just get a magnaflow muffler and have a muffler shop bend you some piping. IMO, I like the headlights and tails on you're car, but if you want to go that style (red/black) then it would look even hotter if you added cf reflectors and gunmetal/hyperblack wheels to accent it. If you already have the Ken kit, put it on, if not, then I would just pick up a used OZ lip kit. Great start!

Greddy is also 2.25 piping and stock is 1.75" which is a pretty good increase when consider a half inch more in diameter. The greddy exhaust is nice and quiet, i had for over a year and loved it. It soiunds great at WOT.

With 3" piping you'd sound like a civic...
