ok its finally been brought to my attention, ive noticed on every oz rally lancer the crappy factory placement of the front license plate holes, cuz when we are driving the plate gets blown up into the lip and the paint gets all muffed up, maybe we need to make up a petition and send it to mitsubishi and thank them, it was one of the many reasons i bought the rmr type II lip b4 i got the evo front end.

 

That happens to every Lancer not just the OZ I have an ES and I also have to pull my plate out when it gets stuck.

 

Get a backing plate for it. Its thick plastic and license plate mounts to it. You can move the whole thing up to the height you want so it doesn't bang the lip.
