hey, yeah those are the stock housing for the headlights. HID's are very simple to install. are you installing low beam HID's or fog HID's? HID's are a plug and play install.

LoL I know they drop way more than what the detail's say. I use to have coilover's,aftermarket shocks and camber kit all around.
It was about half an inch to an inch to the ground.
In Texas that is not a good idea

like i said installing HID's is very easy. it's plug and play. takes about 15 minutes to do. hardest thing about installing HID's is figuring out where to mount the ballasts. installing HID's for your headlights is very very simple. no need for a professional install... you mount the ballast, attach the ballast to the stock wiring harness for your stock headlight, then you attach the ballast to your HID bulb. then put the bulb into the headlight housing. VERY simple. again... ballast to harness, ballast to bulb, mount ballast, insert bulb.

and for your fogs.... its a little harder finding a spot to mount your ballast to, but mine came with mounting brackets... remove fog housing, attach ballast to harness, ballast to bulb, insert bulb, reattach fog housing.

I've done HID's before in my last car, I just don't know if I'm 100% positive yet that I wanna do it to this car.

I personally have never installed HID's to any car's expect(my old)1999 Honda Civic Si and other Honda Hatchback's and Sedan's.

From what I've been told it's a simple plug and play with ballistics that need to be mounted in a good spot.

I have stock housing on my front headlight's and I have stock 4300K (night time) headlight's and stock (off set white) bulb's for my fog's,which I plan on getting some 3K (Golden Yellow) HID's for my fog's.

Those HID's (Halogen Lens) came stock from the factory as shown...

I'm doing 3K (Golden Yellow) for my fog's because I was told from my friend who sell's HID's that if u get that amber bulb color for your fog's your wiring harness WILL FRY 9 out 10 time's I saw about 6 set's of Fog wiring harnesses melted by the stock AMBER bulb from autozone/O'reilly's,etc.

Yup, exactly how he said it
Just really plug and play and the just mount your ballast somewhere VERY SECURED so it DOESN'T DROP OR BREAK
