Some shots of my lancer, and a question

Hey fellas, I just bought my lancer not to long ago, so im pretty new here. I thought I would start off by showing some pics of the lancer. Its still under construction, I got a few more things I wanna do.

Heres some pics.

PICS #1

PICS #2

PICS #3

PICS #4

PICS #5

Anyways, before someone says it, I know it needs a drop badly. Which brings me to my question. Has anyone tried cutting springs? Are the stock springs tense enough to handle a drop?

Thanks.

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT CUT THE STOCK SPRINGS!!!! This is very bad for the life of the springs and the safety of the car. Springs are not meant to be cut. As well you will fail any inspection in any state. This is highly illegal and very unsafe.

Thats a good point, I shouldve brought that up, I hope I didnt make it seem like safety wasnt an important issue. I just wasnt sure how unsafe it was to cut springs, as ive never done it before.

Now as for the inspection, thats easy to get around.

I dont plan on cutting if its going to sacrifice my safety or the life of the springs.

dont cut the spring.. safety and the life of the springs is a reason not to.. also another reason is the car will rock even on level roads while driving if you cut the springs. its not worth it.. other than that, your car looks sweet man

Well I made the mistake of letting circuit city put it in. I only let em do it cause they said they would do it for free and in all honesty im pretty lazy. So I thougt what the hell. I dont know why they didnt sit it flush (im guessing it was the housing), but anyways im gunna go in and see what they did wrong. I just havent got around to it yet.
