Need Opinions on Custom Altered Gauges

I ran into a thread posted by Z Lancer Man about his gauges that he sells. I was interested in trying to do the same thing with my gauges (on an ES); however, I wanted to put a spin on it. I wanted my gauges to light up a different color than the needles. After collaborating with Z Lancer Man, I came up with my own set of gauges that I have not seen on this forum yet. I used the LED Gauge Kit that is sold on Z Lancer Man's site Lightrikz, and I modded the gauge face myself. I assume this can be done on the OZ gauge face as well. I am hoping that everyone posts their opinions so I have some feedback. I am posting what the gauges look like at night as well as during the day.

The red and blue are more vibrant and less flat than they appear in both of the pictures. However, these were the best pictures that I could capture.

Yeah, it probably would. If I did that then I would make the tach red as well. I want to have my needles a different color than my gauge face. I decided to have best of both worlds when I made this gauge face. Thanks for your opinion.

hmmm, i think it looks good, although I still like the look of the oz gauge over the es gauge, but all in all, it looks good and it matches the whole scheme of lighting in yer car.....nice job.

I believe that this could be done for an OZ gauge face as well.

Are you talking about the speedometer completely changing colors from blue to light blue to red? Or are you just asking if I could make certain spots of the speedometer blue, light blue, and red? I'm not sure if it is possible to do the color change fully; however, I would be able to make the speedometer change colors at certain spots. If that makes since. Example: 0-60mph could be blue 61-100mph light blue and 101-120mph red. Hopefully this answers your question.

Eh... Id say go all Red or all Blue, Im not feelin' the duality.
I think you could get away with making the needles the opposite color if you did all one color...

I finally posted a How-To to create the altered gauge face. This includes how to take out the instrument cluster, painting the needles, and altering the gauge face for stock bulbs or w/ LEDs. The post is fairly large due to the amount of pictures and information. If there is any problems or questions with the thread let me know so I can fix it. Let me know what you think! After all it took me three weeks to gather research and develop the product plus another 2.5 hours just to write the how-to. Be sure to post what your gauges look like if you attempt to do this. Best of Luck
