i seen a grille on the interent for an 04 lancer es. It was black mesh and it has lancer written in chrome or silver down at the bottom on one side, I can't find it again. i searched on here and couldn't find a thread about it... Any help is appreciated.

Do those grills fit into the bottom holes, like the OEM ones?

 

the top is oem, it fit the top tabs, thats all you need.

 

I was looking to see if there are "tabs" on the bottom too, for a better install, so the grills aren't flapping around, or have space between the grill and bumper. Doesn't look as good.

But, yes, that's all you need for the grills to not fall off your car.

 

Is there any difference between the two products form the two different lilnks?

 

We sell around 10-15 sets a week and this product has been out for at least 2 years or more, if you search as well there are no complaints on a flap affect and alot of members have the grilles... but you can easily put 3M double sided foam tape, on the bottom to seal it if this should be an issue which to my knowledge is not, as our grilles do fit rather snug and in place... this is the VERSION 2..

 

That is the version 1 on body-kit.com we only sell the version 2 now which is what is on accoladesportparts.com either site carries the same version 2 both are the same company.
