i live in indy too, on my old car i had 5% all around, never got pulled over for it, now i have 20% mirror, never got pulled over for it. im gonna take the mirror off soon and put 5% on the lancer. and 35% to cover the windshield. My buddy has his RSX like this, and hes never got pulled over for it

legal in texas is 20% but im not sure if there is a law against tinting all your windows or not... but, why would you want to? maybe i didnt understand but did you tint your winshield too?

if you do not want to remove the tint, try buying the State Police plate number holder or even a sticker that shows you support the police and hope that they dont harass you again.

Yeah but it was just to make a point; if I'm supposed to be physically capable of seeing through the car itself, I should be able to. If I can't because somebody feels it's necessary to tint their glass to that degree, I feel that's a bit out of line.

I have 5% on all my windows, except windshield which has a 5% strip across the top, and the cops never give me heat about it

Pimpson i live 3 miles away from detroit. And i fequently travel throught detroit. My friend has lost his liscense because of window tint violations he hasn't had to peel his tint yet he just paid the fines.
