Lightbulb Horn connected to high beams

Anyone know if it is possible to connect the horn to the high beams. I am wanting my high beams to go on when i press the horn and then off when i'm not hitting the horn. If any of you have played Need for Speed: hot pursuit II you know what i'm talking about. Just wondering any info would be great couldn't find any info through the search feature.

that's a cool idea even tho i'd have no clue how to set it up.

sorry, maybe someone else can help, possibly in the audio and security forum.

you could do it with a couple of relays. use the negative horn wire voming through your steering column as the trigger for the relays and send 12V to your high beam wire. should be pretty simple. when i tear apart my lower dash to install my 2-way pager alarm i will try to find out the colours for you, but that won't be for a week or two, cuz i still have 2 exams left

split the wire going to the horn in the front of the car, and hook it to a 12v relay 30Amp would probably do..

Then the output of the realy would go to the high beam wire on the lights.. not sure wich wire as i dont have a lancer. should be easy to find with a friend and a volt meter though.

just splice the horn and high beam wires under the steering column, both before their respective relays. you might want to include a diode of some kind onnthe horn side, otherwise when you tunr on your high beams it would honk the horn continously as long as your high beams are on..

on 2nd thought, screw the diode, i think that would be pretty damn amusing...
"hmm its dark here, lemme turn on the brights... (click) HOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNKKKKKKKKK!!!!!
