Moving to show and shine since it's a paint issue, but the scratching and swirling have been happening to me since week one. Cheap paint.

Solution: Purple Paint! I plan to paint her purple this summer. Either purple or electric green with purple flecks.

i have the same problem. none of my scratches are too deep. but one thing i did realize is that most of my scratches are *** high. i dont know if yours are. but do you get what im getting @? when people lean on your car the lil buttons, tabs, whatever, scratch the paint up! im sure they are some products out there for scratch removal. but if you find a good product post!! BTW booyah......purple?! a deep purple? a deep purple would be nice almost a blue

That's the one and only reason why I didn't get a black one. Black is my favorite color, but I knew that it would be next to impossible for me to keep all the little swirls and scratches out of it. They are still there w/the lighter colors, but you just can't see them as easily.

you should see what a few shops say about it, i personally havent run into any major paint issues, other than the paint chipping and thoes damn annoying purple specks.

You should see what my 3 row pyramid belt did to my rear driv'ers side door from not being careful when getting in up front. I also have a mark that looks like a dog jumped on my passenger's side quarter panel, a slight but long scrape across my wing, and a smudge that's been on my hood since day 2 (I'm pretty sure it's from when some stupid ***** flicked a cigarette butt out her window on I-80 )

Those are all the ones I can remember and have noticed.

My hood looks like a friggin dalmation after this winter. I don't really like bras, but I'm starting to reconsider.

Well, I've used Meguiar's (sp?) scratch remover a few times as well as some touch up paint for a deeper scratch and have had decent results. Nothing's perfect when you'r eusing touchup paint, but if the scratch remover is enough, then I fully reccommend Meguiar's.

Black is know for scratching and swirling. you could try waxing and buffing? that might help.

okay hellraiser you said white crayon marks......
i have those toooo..... all over my back bumper..
it looks like someone rubbed off my black paint and got to a "white primer" .. grrr i'm horrible at explaining in english i'm prolly gonna get yelled at by andrew as usual but . it's the best way i can discribe it... i really really really need a digi, it would save me from buying all those flame retardant suits. With all the paint issues out there, if doesn't do anything about it soon i'll be in line with Booyah getting purple paint???? well maybe teal with a sparkle of lavander.
