Going with springs
Alright, I've decided to go with lowering springs since I'm too poor to get coilovers right now. I've been looking around and I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with Progress springs. Not too low to mess anything up right? But I've also seen and read about some others that I might be interested in. TEIN S-Tech, Tenzo, and Swift. The poll is just to see what other people would choose since I'm waiting till Tuesday to order because of the holidays. If not convinced otherwise, I will be ordering the Progress springs on Tuesday and using this thread if I have questions and for installation pics and the final product.
I have the progress springs sitting around....awaiting to be installed....I just haven't got around to it...but the most widely used are s-techs and progress so your best bet would be to buy something that theres actually a lot of customer feedback on...
Tein is one of the leaders in suspension so I personally would go with them. I do believe ive read on here that the progress springs are almost useless. The drop is almost nothing and the springs are so soft that you can bottom out.
Sice u have OZ, i would recommend Tein-S tech. Tthere are so many counterfit TEINS floating around on Ebay. Visit the teins website before you buy them, it has a little article of how to tell which ones are fake and which ones are legit.

I do know about Eibachs, but they are more expensive and require spring compressors to install. But I will continue to think about putting up the extra 50 or so bucks for them and just renting a compressor from autozone if they have them.

they give you the money back when you borrow one. its like, to make sure you dont run off with their tools. i got the progress springs cuz i found them for around $50 bucks shipped. i got lucky! but yeah, drop in the front is better than stock and back i cant even notice. if i could i would have gotten the s techs.

oh ok, yeah i know about autozone, problem here is that they suck. Some parts they don't have even though its listed on their loan a tool advertisement. First time I went to get an o2 sensor socket, they said to look in this ****ty tool box covered in grease full of loose tools. No luck, so I went back and asked the manager and he went and got me one. They don't have breaker bars, no spark plug socket things, and so on. So ill have to check on the spring compressor. if they have them, ill get the eibachs, if not, then its the s techs.
