I have some questions for the guys who have good opinions
haha! Question numba 1! Should I remove my front fog lights? I only had them on well, because its dam foggy where I live but winter is coming and Im also trying to think of a way to mount them behind my bumper mesh. View pic below to see lights.
Question numba 2!! I Just finished a job and im getting paid with car parts. haha. Im going suspension on this one. I was thinking getting Tein basic coilovers but! I could also get a buncha other stuff that would equal the price.. Such as slotted rotors, steel braided brake lines, sway bar/perches, strut bar kit by RDD. and even throw in a lil something else like pads.
Question numba 3!!! Do you know of a way I could mount fogs behind the stock bumper grill?!?
Question numba 4!!!! Do you think its safe to run with no front license plate even tho required by maine you need a front and rear. Do cops really give tickets for that?!? (I just like the look w/o one)

#1 I don't think you should rid of the fog lights, but like you said, if you could mount them behind the bumper mesh, I think it would look better.
#2 Go with the coilovers! Uh, and if you could fit it in, get the pads. The other stuff can wait til you go turbo [you said in another thread you were planning on turbo].
#3 Hmm that's a toughy. Flat piece of sheet metal behind the bumper for them to mount to. Just have the sheet metal above the opening, like how the black mesh laps on top of the opening, kinda like that. Thats the only thing I can think of.
#4 I like the look better, just keep the plate with you in the car just incase. You should be fine. If they pull you over and say no front plate, just say you have it in your trunk and have been meaning to put it back on. Tell them you'll lay it up front on your dash until you get a chance to bolt it back up. You will have those ugly holes in the front bumper though, but the look does look better.

i have my fog lights behind my mesh and it doesnt affect them at all, just mounted them to the plastic on the back and they work great... cant see them in the day time either
about the liscense plate, the cop would really only give u one if you got stopped for something else... hed just add it to the fines, or if he really sucks and is really short on his quota :P

I very sneaky sneaky, you have much to learn grasshopper
Look down in front of your radiator, youll see the end of the bumper and then behind that is just a part of the splash tray. Either can be drilled and have a light bolted into it. There are places that are stronger then others you just have to feel around. I wish i could be of more help but i just did mine by alot of hands on figuring.
Oh btw if you want to get any light at all out of them you have to cut out squares of the original grill, then re-mesh the front, trust me.

Yeah, I'd definitely go with the coilovers. Then forget about rotors, pads and brake lines and just get the Wilwood big brake kit! Trust me, they're worth the $$!
In order to mount the fog lights behind the mesh you'd almost definitely have to take the front bumper off. It's not hard though. Much cleaner look with them behind the mesh in my opinion. Before I got my turbo I had my fog lights behind my mesh and it looked sweet. Helps give them a little more protection from rocks and all that junk too.
Car's lookin great though, good luck with your choices!
