Damn... how hard is it to install hood pins? I have a CF OEM style hood.

i tried just using the stock latch, but it wouldnt lock down all the way. like it was offset. so i got the hood locks. my girlfriend is gonna buy me a new carbon hood (good girlfriend!). i just need some new hood hinges.

oh, no roof damage either. surprisingly since everyone has said something about roof dents.

Dang man that sucks. I havnt had it happen to me. but i know people that have had the hood fly up.

where are u going to get the hood from? I have the same exact hood for sale. its been in my shed for a year, still bubble wrapped. is it an rrm hood?

whoa, good call. i have no idea how i didnt notice those. aww man, now i feel even crappier haha. crap, all i can say is, concentrate on school and work and i'll have my evo and this car will be going to a younger cousin. yay!

i was looking at it from a straight up view before, you cant see the dents unless you are on a side.

That sucks...I am rather surprised that a cf hood did that much damage to your windshield.

lancerman, its all good, im looking at all of this as a learning experience. if you were talking to me, i'll definently let you know if i'll be getting rid of the hood. just waiting on a reply to a PM.
