Opinion: White rims on Thunder Grey Metallic OZ

Hey a friend of mine is selling me a set of 17" rims 6 spoke really cheap...Theyre white and I am thinking about getting them...

Does anyone have pics of a Thunder Grey OZ with white rims?

Anyone think I shouldn't get them? How about gunmetal with polished lip?

EDIT: sorry about the misspelling

White wheels look tacky to me, no matter what color car they're on. My old room mate had a thunder grey OZ with gunmental wheels and it looked sharp. Look him up and see if he still has pics posted under oranginous.

if they are super cheap, buy them and get them powder coated.

its about 50 dollars a wheel for 15s and like 60 for 17s. theirs a shop here in hampton va that will do it. sometimes its cheaper to get it done as a group so they dont waste as much paint. im looking eiter for bronze or gunmetal.

What's the name of the shop?

hmm... white rims on Gray lancer.... it'll look funny, but different.

I have white rims on my white lancer. But those rims above, look cheap. but for the price, just get them and rock'em for a bit...

mine were expensive and they're 18s...lol but have some alloy to them.

Careful with powdercoating. There's been folks that have said their wheels ended up flaking off faster than expected.
