I guess I'm the only one that thinks cf should be used as accents.

i like cf because it is lightweight and cools quicker than steel.

Agreed, but how many people are trying to reduce weight to increase their trap times (what is it, 1/10 of a second for every 100 lbs?) versus the amount of people that are trying to get cf for the hell of it?

thats kinda retarded if its just an overlay, kinda defeats the purpose of having lightweight carbon fiber.
It looks ok, but kinda overkill in my opinion, esspecially if it is just for looks.

Not retarded. IT is for looks for sure. Retarded is having a poor fitting fender that you friend leans on and cracks the mounting tab. These fenders will not do that. Lets just say they are more practical. IF you are a racer only Lancer then call me and I'll set you up.

Its not like you need a 100% carbon fender anyways. Who races their lancer on such a level to where carbon fenders will help out? I think they look good and thats all they are for, is show.

if you look at the fender on this wrx you see where they faded blue from the A pillar over the fender ( http://premium1.uploadit.org/tylerwa...30_5493745.jpg ) you could do something like that, only with your skirt

RRM does.

And I stand by my original statement that I think cf should be an accent and not a focal point.

thats true, i think to much carbon fiber can look horrible. A carbon hood looks nice, but having the entire front end of the car in carbon fiber looks kinda ricey.
