Ok so im tired of looking in my rear view and seeing a long strip of my Evo VIII wing. So its time for something lower profile. Since i never see anything but Evo wings and OZ wings on here i want to do something totaly different. Here are three options to mull over.

1) Fiber Glass Type M wing. Pros - cheaper, Cons - will need paint



2) Carbon Creations Sniper. Pros - Clean low look, no paint. Cons - Over 400$



3) Carbon Creations Flush Mount. Pros - Clean, VERY low, no paint, under 400$ Cons - They advertsied it on a Civic . . . .



Ok guys vote away. Im sure alot of you die hards are going to scream stay with the Evo wing but really there are WAY too many of us with those wings. TIME TO BE DIFFERENT!!

and like the guy who didnt like bronze rims its not an answer im gonna take All oppinions are welcome guys. Gimme some feedback o nthe wings i posted b/c i really dont like the lancer wingless, its just too narrow.

 

I voted for the first one....if your going to try something dif. thats prolly wat'd id choose..i'm afraid the last one wouldnt go to well w/ the lancer's body style...but i could be wrong....and I hate the middle one...

 

I think it would be better to have pics of em on a lancer, just to see how they flow and all...

 

out of those 3 type M wing looks like it would be the best choice. I voted type M. The flush mount may look good. hard to tell from that angle especially.

 

the first ones seems the most unlikely to see around anywhere. i'd go for ;it.

 

I agree that it would be alot easier to judge if they wre on a lancer, but its kinda what im going for to have something that hasnt been seen on a Lancer. Keep the oppinions coming.

 

the Type M wing is very clean... I may like that more then the OZ wing.

 

Ok so as far as feedback goes, i say just stay with the stock OZ spoiler as it matches the boxy look of your lancer. #2 and #3 will probably look better on bigger cars with the round/curvy shapes. It will not be a good match for the boxy look IMHO. Also, u might wanna try those lip spoiler that ne-evo has. it makes the car look clean and also flows with the car since your lancer has a shaved trunk unlike 04+models.

I can also see that #1 is not that bad but again, it will be better off on Hondas.

In short, if i had to choose out of those 3, i would go for #1. However, if i had a choice of choosing something else other than those 3 and it would be either stock OZ spoiler or a spoiler lip like "ne-evo" has.

I'd go with type M. Its boxy like the Lancer

Its funny I just put an Evo spoiler on mine and your taking yours off.

 

thats part of the reason im taking it off (not you imparticular) but alot of people have them and i want something different. heres a pic of the sniper wing on a 4 door sedan with close to the same lines as ours, im still trying to find something of the last wing.

 

ok found out that the type M and the flush mount are the same wing, they just didnt have a picture of the lancer one so they used the civic. So since they got the most votes (and i agree) im going to go with the CF version of that spoiler. Ill post pics when its done. May not be to everyones taste but at least itll be different.
