Horrible Story!
I ran over a puppy in East Boston the other day!
I felt terrible but the little thing came out of nowhere and I didn't even see it until it was too late.
Sorry about your car dude.

Do you know if the dog lived? if not, and you haven't completely fixed your car yet, you can finish the job, then finish fixing your baby. I can't believe that comment on "well he might have been speeding" *****! what bull.. good luck man.
On my way to RRM one day I was driving down Carmenita Rd. and this ****in BIG dog comes out of nowhere... I was like 200 ft from him doing like 65. The road was a 2 lane road and the dog was in my lane, very stupidly running toward my car. What did I do? My quickest reflex was to execute an evasive manuever. I hit the brakes, yanked back the e-brake jerked the wheel right and did a hard left. That allowed me to spin around to go the opposite way. After my car turned about 160 degrees I dropped the e-brake and just floored my gas pedal. My car damn near stalled from the force going backwards and the gas I tried to apply going forwards. Im lucky my front wheels had tread on it to grip the road well and I started going the opposite way. I look in my rearview mirror and the damn dog is still chasing me. I pull over and the dog comes right up to my door. This moderately sized golden retriever is at my door and my car is stopped, so I open my door and get out. The dog had some tags on him so I take a look @ em and realize that the owner lives just 2 streets down from RRM. I take the dog into my rear seat and I take him to the owner. I tell him what happened and he gave me $100 as a reward for bringing the dog back and gave me his number so that if I find any damage to the car due to my manuevering, I can call him and he'll pay for it. It all ended well, thank god I didnt run the damn dog over. Also, our car can powerslide QUITE well.
