has anyone ever tried tp put some MR taillights into an oz?? or if you have heard of did that person have to modify it to fit??...

 

dont they have taillights that are similar to the MR for your yr?

 

arent the lights a totally different size and shape then yours... I think that would be alot of modifing.

 

Your best bet would be getting some kind of amber spray over the turn signals of the CF taillamps that roadrace sells. Our tail lamps are different shaped than evo tail lamps.

 

the only part that is different from looking at them is our tails have a triangle shape that goes around to the fender and the mr stlye are a square

 

I thought of the same thing the other day. You will need the rear fenders which go all the way over the windows and ends jus above the front fender then u will also need the rear doors off an evobut It's not worth it unless you really really want to do it and have the money then u might as well change the whole front. You can cut through the fender to fit the shape of the lights. Or u can jus go on ebay and get the black housing evo style tailights, thats what i did but i have the chrome.

Ofcourse it's not the exact same thing but it's either that or stay stock. I've fooled plenty of ppl wid my set up which is pretty damn funny .

People thought my car was an Evo because i had the tailights and the wing. Just yesterday someone told me that.

 

people thought my car was an evo just because i blacked out the grill. Its not really all that special of an accomplishment.
Personally i dunno why you would want those actual lights. Just buy some new style tail lights.

 

It's not like i was tryin to fool ppl purposely i thought it was funny when they would say it. i jus wanted my car to be different than all the other yellow OZ's that are around my area, and no one had the set up that i did they had the TYC lights which i really don't like. But i don't care now cause i sold it yesterday and bought a Ralliart.
