custom MOD for cold air....!!

i have the RRM short ram w/o heatshield.....well one day i relized that it got hot in engine bay.... so i decided i needed to make it cold air....so my friend (who onws a Impreza) and I made a custom MOD for cold air....its preety niffty....we used air ducts that fit on old pickups, twist ties and wire. very cheap mod and very very Helpfull!! now when i stop driving i pop up hood and fell the filter....and its cold! yummy!

trying to figure out how to resize pics.....need software...

i did the same but i used some NACA bumper ducts made for racecars(my uncle hooked me up)ran the 3 inch hose from both sides of the bumper into a junction that meets just before the heat shield(i have the RMR intake)almost the same but a lot cleaner...there are a few of us trying this kind of thing

if you are refering to my post here is the closest pic to the ducts i mounted in the bumper on both outside holes.now mine are trimmed-up a lot to make them fit snug.the only down side is that i had to remove the window cleaner tank to make it work for the passanger side...but am makeing a custom one of those too.my pics will be up once i get them devoluped.

nice work. i was goin to do the same thing just a little cleaner looking. but then i just when with the aem cai.

GREAT work though i think creativity is one of the hardest things to find....everyone just wants things handed to them, but someone has to do the thinking.
