Greddy aluminum shift knob
Anyone have the GReddy aluminum shift knob?
I was thinking about ordering one, but I wanted to see if anyone had it and whether they liked/disliked it. I have a RAZO red/carbon shift knob now, but I'm painting my interior trim blue this week and need to get a matching knob. Any feedback would be appriciated.

I have one of these. It's nice, but difficult to get used to. It's heavy and feels good, although it will make the shifts feel "notchier." If you want to have smooth-feeling shifts, stick with the stock knob.
Otherwise, good deal. And it doesn't need a setscrew, since it's threaded.

Um yeah...

I have the GReddy aluminum shift knob. Make sure you cover it up with something, or put up the sunshields in your windshield during the day, cause that thing gets hot. That's the only downfall I can think of about it. I have the B&M Short shifter, and I think it looks good. Defintely go with a shortshifter if you plan on getting the knob.
I paid 20 bucks for mine from a friend, but 40 bucks is a good deal, go for it.

I bought mine used at a local shop for 40 bucks even, under the table...no tax. The only bad part about that was that the center cap was stuck in place in the previous owners Eclipse, which has a shorter available thread on the shift post.
On my car, the 1-2-3-4-5-R cap was sideways. Nothing prying it out with a knife and some glue couldn't fix.
It's a great knob, and bigger than it looks. It gets horribly hot in the sun and annoyingly cold in the winter, but that's just an excuse to shift faster, right?
