Well yeah if anyone want good deals with audiobahn system im the guy to deal with i will work to get them to drop the price down that and the fact that i know the owners of the audio shops and talk directly with The Audiobahn to tell me where to go and deal with. If u guys decide to go to audiowarehouse alone u will get a deal but not the best like kareem did u need someone who knows them and has dealed with them for a while. So if anyone is interested in great prices hit me up.

5 hours cuz we spent most of our time looking for the right tools, lol

The tools we had trouble with is the drill (drilling through the firewall to run the power cable). Finding the right sized wrench for the positive battery end (Charles almost killed himself while un-doing the bolt, he closed a circuit between the postive terminal and the battery holder clamp). And we also tried to wire the Capacitor in without a block distributer, but we couldnt do it. So that's what took us a while.

because kareem forgot to get intall wiring lol that took like an hour just to get it and then I had to drill the holes for the subs and the drill bits broke or got stuck while drilling through the firewall.that was time consuming. that and kareem was kinda late with the eqipment lol

I ahte when you start to instal stuff and then realize you need something when your half way through. Any reason why you decided to drill through the fire wall instead of going through one of the gromets?

The wire is THICK!!! I used 4 Gauge wiring for the power to the Amp

I dont think the Grometes coulda handled that thick of a wire.

But it think facing the subs towards inside the box is bad.. I mean wrong.. Usaully, they say that the pressure will stay in the box and can blow up your subs. It can rip the rubber around the subs.. I forgot what you call it... but then again.. I just heard it... If its proven that it doesnt blow subs, then please correct me.. Thank you

well I have two ten in custom subs from audio bahn facing in and trust me they hit harder and send the sound to the cabin and not get lost in the trunk plus it reduses trunk radeling. Well i make them hit hard runing them at high volumes pulling a bunch of wattege fromthe amp. And had the subs for six months and no rips no blow outs nothing all still in good condition. But hey if u are telling by exp then i guess i will lower the volume lol

Whoever told you that obviously has no idea what they're talking about. Sound is made of vibrations caused by the compression and rarefraction cycle of the driver's cone. It doesn't go one way without it going the other way. The reason subwoofers are placed in an enclosure (most of the time) is such that the driver manufacturer can place a more supple suspension in the unit. The air in the box acts as a secondary suspension. The air, when compressed by the driver has a higher pressure than the air on the other side of the driver, so it pushes back. Likewise when the driver extends outward, the air on the inside has a lower pressure, and the driver is pushed back in. This air suspension coupled with the suspension and surround is more than enough to control the linear extension in either direction.

It doesn't matter how you mount your subs. The only differences make arguing them a moot point.
Arguments for
1. Inverted runs cooler (the motor structure is in open air)
2. Inverted sounds deeper (the airspace on the inside of the box is larger without the motor structure and basket taking up space)
3. Inverted looks cooler

arguments against
1. Inverted damages easier (you've got all the important bits just hangin out there)
2. With a properly designed box, the motor structure and basket etc. should already be accounted for.
3. Inverted takes up more useable car space.

One thing about running inverted subs though, you should wire them out of phase (- on amp to + on sub, and vice versa) otherwise, and this is just a nitpicky bastard thing, you end up with a phase delay (bass hits moments after it's supposed to. Sounds silly if you're used to hearing it on time)

...and that's all I've got to say about that.

you can run 4 gauge through the gromet that comes out in the driver side wheel well if you cut the gromet very carefully
