Good question... probably same question my dad asked me.. why put fancy rims and tires on your car.. you can get a cheap set of 4 for less than 200 and it will get you from point A to point B...

Rest assured, I have normal headlamps lighting the way... the turn signals in front were pretty much useless since having T/S on the side corners works just fine. I can't see where they were lighting the way to begin with, so figured they were better off being modded then just sitting there.

Ouch ! That hurt... glad to see there are people still out there that can still put it bluntly. Thanks for the opinion though.

As soon as you flash your turn signals around a cop, it's all over. I'm gonna be nice and not even gonna get into the color debate. I used to have a Sentra with blue turn signals. That lasted about three weeks before I got my fix-it ticket. Not too bad, $60 and no points, but I wish I had just gone with white and probably avoided the whole cop situation all together.

I think thats where some may be confused... my turn signals are now on the outside corners.. what used to be the parking lights (194s) which are still amber as required by law. What I changed was made the front lamps to act as the parking lights and stay on continuously when the headlights are on.

During the day with the lights off, no one even knows what they are... at night, probably only if they are paying attention since the main beams are much brighter and are still the normal white lamps.

I think it would be crazy to mess around with the color of your brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signals. Other drivers expect to see a certain color... mess with those.. and you are asking for it. However, people have done the blue dot on taillamps for years... or extra colored leds in the t/s area... not wise I think.

Blue blinking light... people might have thought you were a cop if they weren't paying attention, at least I am sure thats the premise the cops would take.

However, if my rig was setup the way you suggested, your point would be well taken. Thanks for mentioning it though.

You buy fancy rims and tires because fancy rims save you weight and fancy tires are sticky.

We "hate" on the guy because 1. he posted on a public forum and as such he is damn well gonna get our opinions and 2. green lights are in a completely different category compared to what most of us do.

I couldn't agree more. You post up something that you did, you can't expect always good comments.

Now don't take this as "hating", but I don't like what he did with the green lights. To me it would be a distraction if I saw that in my rear view mirror. Not to mention, his front turn signals are going to be a bit harder to see.

I'm not "hatin" on the guy. I'm "HATING" on the green lights/product on the car and his taste in car lights.

NO I don't.
Everything that I've done to my Lancer has helped the ride comfort (ex. MP3 player) or overall performance (ex. sway bars).

Wish I had thought of that when he said that... however, I am sure he would be just as quick with a come back.
