I don't see it as that at all... they are being honest about their opinion. I mean what did I expect by putting it out here for all to see... some would love it, some would be middle road, and others simply would find it distasteful...

To me it seems to be a mixed crowd. Like I said, if I did the chrome wiper blades and washer leds, I think I would have got it bad from all angles no doubt.

So in the end its cool that they don't like it and others do. Thats what makes our cars individual and unique. It would be pretty boring if we all ran the same setup.

If he's a stereotype muscle head the response would probably be something along the lines of "well weight is important when your motor only has 4 cylinders".

No, closer to sarcastic bastard, LOL. I feel we are a lot alike, in that they will dump a load on a house that they are fixing up because its what they want to do and they like the finished product. Sometimes, I don't think they see that I, like others, want to do the same to our cars and don't see it any more a waste of monies than what they spend on the house.

However, he makes a good point in that in most cases they can sell the house for a sizable profit whereas what we do does not generally net us anything. So much so we are better off stripping the vehicle back to stock and selling off the parts individually in order to recoup our investment.

whoa... this conversation has veered off topic... however, I can see what you mean.

Kentucky Law and color lights...

Did some research here in Kentucky where I live... granted opinions vary as to who likes it and who doesn't, but at least locally as long as the green lights aren't flashing its not illegal. Same would be true for blue lights or red lights... flashing lights is a problem. Also, turn signals must be amber in color, and brake lights red in color.

Someone made a comment about not being able to see the turn signals from the front, since I moved them to the outside edge of what used to be the parking lamps. I can see the signal just fine from the front and side both. I plan on buying an led version to replace the bulbs still because they are little bright so that its sort of a whitish amber color. Prefer something more yellow.

On a different note, I would be interested to find out where I could get a set of those Credia headlamps which are different than the stock headlamps for 2003. About a year and a half ago, I changed by to black style headlamps. Anyone know about the Credia headlamps ?

Thanks for the comment.

Personal taste is what its about. after reading your posts you understand this so props to you for not being like some other members ive seen, and when people dont agree with what they have done they whine and argue. At least your mature about the differences in tastes.

Well I was wondering when someone might notice my attitude on things. I appreciate the recognition. I think I have gotten pretty numb to differing opinions on things... for example... my wife does not appreciate the green brakes... Everything else she likes, but she hates the brakes. On the other hand, the guys down at the local Valvoline shop (with their own set of whips modded and such) like the look through and through. None of means much, as long as the owner likes it.

What I mainly look for when I post things here is if I get a large majority of opposing opinions.. that makes me question my 'brilliant' idea as being not so brilliant. LOL. As in this case it was relatively balanced.

What I need to do next really is getting a decent paint job... the original paint job pretty much sux. Something about Single Stage painting from the factory from what I understand. I think if I get it redone and done correctly with a nice clear coat, then it should keep it looking much nicer.

Again, thanx for the props.
