its blue suede(looks purple in pic)




my other friend doesnt have his pics up of his interior. Ill have to yell at him. Its similiar only with a red color scheme (car is red). leather and not suede. They both are very good with fiberglass as well. So I might even glass some peices. hard to tell right now. once I get the dash apart ill go nuts with it.

no the carbon is starting to fracture from being heat cycled looks like shyt. im actually lookin for another.

what do you meen heat cycled. Ive never seen a CF hood like that. got any closer pics of it? I dont want mind to end up like that if thats the case...lol

I removed the heat shield like a moron and over the course of 3 years the constant heating and cooling of the crappy carbonfiber microfractures have formed and the clear coat has dulled massively.

Pics....





Look at the difference between the good carbon on the grill (carbontrix) and the hood.



Now for the weird part. I have spots that are still glossy and i have no idea why.

I ordered the hood through a shop in Allentown. I dont know the manufacturer. I dont know how to fix it. Im gonna try wet sanding it to see if i can get it to shine up but i doubt it will work.

I suggest you find some strong holding black paint and just repaint it, i dont know how it will hold it though =/
