you send the hood to a good shop to get it sanded and re-cleared. The clear coat has seperated from the carbon fiber which causes the foggyness. That just happens over time but ive never seen it that bad.

Be interesting to know the company. I have a seibon evo style but in the summer I keep the vent open which releases most of the heat anyway. Do you keep your hood waxed real well?

Yeah i waxed it about once every 2 weeks. So get it sanded hard and recleared? sounds too easy.

yeah. basically. as long as the CF itself isnt damaged thats all you do.

Theres a guy over on the evo section that does this with the wings.. I dunno if he would do a hood though. Heres a link to the guy who does it. I think in the thread he explains a little bit about it. mabey you should pm him and ask him a few questions.

clicky here

itsinsane- that is one of my fav. newer style lancers. wicked clean. I love it.

Pics....

Look at the difference between the good carbon on the grill (carbontrix) and the hood.

Now for the weird part. I have spots that are still glossy and i have no idea why.

try using a rag and some peanut butter yes i said peanut butter. ive read on honda_tech.com that people had foggy CF hoods and they used it and it worked. unless the clear it accualy is lifting off the CF the your going to have to sans it all down then reclear it.

Clear runners with a hint of carbon fiber in the grill

A clear view of the sexy grill.

Spoiler and Altezzaz. An angled viewof the Evo 8 spoiler

*** view of the Lancer OZ. Your looking at Altezzaz, Magnaflow catback, spoiler, Tint, Billet antenna.

The Intake side of things...A SR with stock funnel

And the last mod...a trunk full of peanuts! Its the best mod because it makes my car lighter and adds like 10 HP and 15 lbs/TQ!
