just got a few pieces of my lancer puzzle today thanks RRM for all the help, going to get the pistons and cam off to the machine shop tomorrow so stay tuned for more action and adventure.

nice. give us a full report on how it goes. including the final cost of getting that done. i want to have an idea of how much I'm gonna have to save for next year, I'm gonna get new pistons and rods.

 

yeah i am taking it to the machine shop, well engins shop, they are doin some trick stuff to the head and rebuilding the lower end, so yeah full motor build. trying to run in the 12-13psi area so yeah this should get teh job done. cant wait for the dyno. RRM power bishes.

i am already turbo, i just want to mak more of a go car and less of a daily driver so i decided to upgrade the internals and do a few other tweaks.

What comp. are you running, and what grind is that cam? Boost level?

 

before the pistons and cam i was at 7psi, not i am thinking around 12psi the cam is RRM stage 1 the pistons are stock compression, i was thinkin of lowering it but after some research i dicided to get stock. but yeah i am hoping to make some good power.

 

12 psi should be a nice increase!

Might wanna start saving for a new clutch if your shooting for 12 psi. Should be nice though, post up some pics when you get a chance.

 

yeah i alredy have the clutch and flywheel, brand new. yeah i dropped off the pistons and cam today, the motor should be done either end of this week or next week. i also ordered the Kenstyle frotn from RRM so i am waiting for that, when i get more work done i will post pics.
