Here's a pic of my grill I just painted. I'm applying a 2nd coat in the morning, give some feedback on whether you guys think I should keep the symbol red or just go ahead and black it out too....

Or I might paint it back chrome, I think the red just contrasts too much, and I think black on black would just be too...black.

yeah the red sticks out a lot...maybe jus...yellow to color match? i ono -_-

Oh yeah I have touch up paint I could paint it with, might be hard to cover the red with that.

i like it. if you could get a white outline around the red it would look even better.

i left the badge chrome, but sanded it down to take off the shine. so it looks kinda like brushed aluminum now. it looks pretty cool

i like yours though nice and clean. but i do think you may want to do something else with the badge

I'm going to put the 2nd coat on right now then leave it in my grandma's shop overnight so I can put it on in the morning. I'm not gonna worry about the badge yet cus I have to get some JB weld to put it back on anyway.

I left my grill emblem chrome and painted the rest black. I think yours would look good if you done like crypto and sand the chrome down.

When I put the 04-06 emblem on my trunk I painted it all black, I thought about painting the edges red but I never did. It may look good like that on the grill.

Keep it red. I think its looks better that way...IMO

I might try taping off the edges and painting it black, the red trim sounds cool.
