Hey guys, I'm interested in having a look at what others are doing to save their lancers this winter from the ice, snow, salt, etc...

I can see NEWFOUND lives on a Mountain side...lol.

 

I wish I had a winter beater. I just take every exterior part off for the winter and revert to stock, aka. sleeper mode.

 

Its not much but it works...

This is my first year with a winter beater... and I gotta say, since going 4x4 for the winter, I'll never go back to FWD. You can probably see in one of the pictures the grooves in the driveway pavement... those are from the studded tires I had on the lancer suffering to haul the car up into the driveway

As for now though, the lancer is sitting comfortably in a garage getting some mods that have been overdue...

Surely someone else has a cheap winter car they use to save their lancer from salty snow destruction!?!? :P

Eh this my beater, w/o the rims.

 

not really a beater.. but it drives us everywhere.. my Lancer only takes me to werk..

 

This is a generic pic off of Google but my '95 Pathfinder basically looks just like this only with a big brush guard. It is dark green and covered in scratches from the woods...haha. And it has cruise control and a sunroof unlike my EVO.

This was my Winter (actually year-round...which is pretty much all winter here anyway) beater before I sold it...

And yes, before you laugh, that is a Jeff Gordon Decal on the window, and yes, i'd have one on my Lancer if it wasn't...imported haha
