I've only had a chance to spin the rims when the car was up on jackstands and the suspension was decompressed. The only rub that I managed to get from them was at full-locked-right turn which only left about a 1inch square rub in the dirt on the inner wheel well wall. In order to fully test it, it will probably have to wait until I get the car out in the spring. I have moved the car around in the garage a little since putting her back down on the ground and have turned the wheels fully left and right while doing so, and there was absolutely no rub then. Overall, I think any rubbing will be to a minimum for sure, so don't be afraid of getting rims. I got 42mm offset rims, so if you want to be really safe, go with a 40 or 38 offset. I'll be looking forward to seeing a new set of rims on your thread in the near future
Good luck!

My g/f took a few pics while we were out driving in the snow storm currently hitting Newfoundland. How it relates to this build-up thread is that I'm not out beating up the lancer or putting more snow-brush swirl marks in the paint

And a couple from my window:

Finally... it's amazing how the flash of a camera can magically make a storm appear!

naw! i only put mine in the ditch like 10 times. ha jk it was just once and i figured i probably should stay off unplowed dirt roads. back on topic though. really nice lancer, i like all your progress. it would be so nice to have a garage like that but im stuck with the one car garage at our apartment complex, but size doesnt matter, its how you use it. lol. when it warms up i think i MIGHT actually start one of these build up treads if i have enough projects. anyways keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Thanks... as of right now, I have the following items on the way:
-RRM Front Strut Tower Bar
-RRM Rear Strut Tower Bar
-RRM Lower Tie Bar
-RRM Sway Bar w/ Perches
-Evo 8 Spoiler
-Drilled/Slotted Rotors
I'll get updates and pics posted once they arrive and I get to the garage for the installs... but now you guys know what the next few updates have in store!
As well, Newfoundland is due for a blizzard tonight, so you never know... I might wander off-topic again to show off my little 4x4 winter beater vehicle some more

hey, if you were still interested in doing your rear mount, you can buy them here for much less than you thought: https://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html search in the collision catalog under 2002 in engine/transaxle and you should find it for around $38.00. or you can buy my extra one from me for even less, lol!
