so i have an '02 OZ .. black

i cant decide what color i wanna repaint it ... because my paint is blah

so i was thinking:
((keeping the jdm ralliart grille black))
black paint
evo blue ( or a little darker )
red
and white


what do you think?

 

i was thinking about doing something similar. I had someone make a photoshop.
This will give you an idea of how it will look in blue (very good imo)

 

I also like the blue... and then get white rims. Very sexy in my opinion.

 

white rims on most colors is very nice i think.
like a 6 spoke - 17"

 

Are you thinking about getting a flat blue, or one of the slightly more metallic blues? Personally I am a fan of the metallic colors - but they tend to cost a lot more when you go to have your car painted. If you have the funds for it - I would say go for a dark metallic blue.

 

i have an 03 in labrador black, and my pain is also blah. Im tired of washing 2 times a week and still the car looks dirty. if i repaint im going silver or some lighter colored metallic. Red would be a little easier to keep clean

 

Silver is such a good choice... When it's dirty, it just changes to a different shade of silver. LOL

 

Get the Jeff Gordon blue from the back of his car, it's absolutely stunning!



Other than that, I always thought it would be awesome (if not highly illegal) to paint a car with the reflective paint they use to lay down the lines on roads. It would be AWESOME at night

 

I want to paint a car in Glow In the Dark paint...would totally rock.

 

hey wartown, for one Rehab rocks (if your from warner robins) and for 2 ive got a websight saved that has glow in the dark auto paint, and also color change autopaint. i'll pm you the sight if you want.

color is a very personal thing. it also depends on what you plan to do with the car. I like white. goes with everything. mabey a very stark white like a diamond white with a slight pearl silver over it. that would look bangin.

i would guess it is ilegal, check out Alsa corp, they got some crazy paints ( including glow in the dark ), i always had an idea of painting my hood with their xposures paint, it would be cool to see the hood changing colors as the engine gets hotter, i dont know about the whole car thought
