WHat do you do in the Navy? Its not so bad here depending on where you go. The quality of life is a lot nicer then it was last time I was here.

all honesty coming from who was in ur exact same shoes....Iraq had a lancer, then bout turbo, cluch, flywheel etc when i got back. and now owning an EVO....i would say either
A) pay the car off
B) get power mods ie. RRM Turbo kit
C) sell the car and get an EVO

if u were there for 1year (if ur in the army) then you should have atlesat $20,000....yeah moding the lancer was fun as hell and i learned alot....but i should of paid it off 1st....then either modded it or sold it.

the less your in debt the more fun having money is....

my 2cents. from an OIF1&2 vet.

I'm in the Army but my unit only does 6 month individual augmentee rotations . Lucky me, lol. I got screwed on my finacing for the car so I'm not going to be in a position to pay it off when I get back. Plus I want to keep the payments going to build credit and all. I still may go the power road. It all depends on how much $ I'm able to save up over here.

I bank with USAA. When I get back, I'm going to get in touch with them and the credit union on post to see about getting refinanced.

FYI you have to make payments on any car loan for atleast 6 months and 1 day for it to come out on your credit report.. and i suggest you pay it off before modding also..

I think a black interior with gunmetal/grey trim would look really nice. Maybe get the seats wrapped in black leather with grey inserts or get some black Bride fronts and have the rear's rewrapped to match.

That would be pretty nice. But Brides are a lil out of my price range, lol.

I just got an idea for what I think I'm gonna do to the exterior. How do you guys think that Rexspeed trunk spoiler will look on an 03 with the the wing removed? I'm thinking about getting that, a vortex generator and a ralliart grille to clean up the exterior. I've already debadged the trunk, so I'm thinking this would look hella clean. Let me know what you think.
