yes i will take pictures asap, but i don't think that it was the shipping that caused the damage... the box was in mint condition, but it seems to be a defect in the product... no big deal, i just don't want my painter to charge me more because the 'new' part is messed up and he had to fix it. I'll send you the pics hopefully in the am.

Hi Sir

At the Moment we cannot help you refund for your claim as you made this
issue Public by going out totaly out of our Policy.

Our Policy says that you need to claim the Damage from the Courier Company.

We could have help you out, but because made public we will not.,

Wow, thats pretty crazy. Heaven forbid that you let other potential buyers know about issues you are having with a company.

Dave, that's so stupid. The only reason you "went public" is because they went for soooo lang without even giving you a response. Whatever. Accolade makes some cool stuff, but those dudes are dicks.

i think maybe chris got frustrated because he was informing the customer many times that he first needs to file with the carrier for damage, and the customer kept informing that he does not believe it was the carrier but that we shipped it like that. I can gurantee we did not ship it with that little crack because I personally inspect all items before dispatch. We are a big company and things get lost in the confusion of business, time passes and so does our opportunity to work with the carrier.

at any case that damage is nothing, it has just been magnify x10, normally a body shop wouldnt charge anything at all to fix, they just consider that apart of prep, fill it in and paint. too much argument over such a trivial damage, granted it should have never come like that and we do apologize but that is the nature of fiberglass.. this can be easily fixed. trust me.

i think that is just the gel coat. extremely sorry about the incident Mr. Wickman.

that's what I thought too, but they just keep giving me the run-around

Here's the last email in response to me not being able to inspect the items... they shipped my stuff to the wrong place:

i guess my point is that you shipped it to a different address than specified therefore I could not examine the shipping on arrival because the stuff I had setup to have the product inspected was not the place you guys decided to ship. So, it is therefore impossible for me to follow your "policy" if you didn't ship the fenders that were in "perfect condition" it to the correct address. I gave plenty of time to settle the issue. I started sending emails in November, it's definitely March, now. Best case, that's 3 months, ample time to figure-out what is going on.

If you can also Dectect that this is not written on our Policy I am sure you were also able Read this Down Written in RED.

----------------------------------------
Shipping Policy / Damaged Shipments
All shipments are sent with full insurance coverage. ACCOLADE, ships all orders in perfect condition and is not responsible for any damage that may occur during shipment.

We at ACCOLADE, urge our customers to check all shipments for any type of damages before signing any type of bill of lading presented to you by the trucking company. By signing the trucking company's bill of lading, you agree to the shipping company and ACCOLADE. that all packages are in good order and in acceptable condition. After a bill of lading is signed and the package is delivered, neither the shipping company nor ACCOLADE. will accept the liability for the package.

Please remember that fiberglass is easily fixable and ACCOLADE does not tolerate refusal or return of minor cracks, scuffs, and scratches on any fiberglass parts.

Products that are damaged through the negligence of the shipping company, customers must report the damages to that shipping company within 24 hours after receiving order. All damages should be noted by the driver on your copy of the delivery receipt. If not customer could be held liable for all damages acquired through shipping. Please remember do not discard any portion of the packaging material. The shipper will send a representative to inspect the carton and its contents. ACCOLADE, will cooperate in full to fix or replace your product as long as all the steps above have been followed.
Thank you for your Business.

/\ I still dont think you are understanding the proper procedures, it matters not that it was delivered to your house instead of the body shop, even if there is no opportunity to sign for the package you have as long as 7 days to inform the carrier of damage. but of course you cannot do this as you keep telling us you dont think its the carrier, if you dont want to work with us to fix an issue, we cannot help you.

AND FINALLY AS I SAID IN MY MANY YEARS WORKING IN THIS INDUSTRY. THIS PROBLEM A HAIRLINE CRACK ON THE GELCOAT IS A SMALL ISSUE.

I do not even think you have taken it to a body shop for their assessment, maybe if you did there would be no reason for complaint they could fix this without cost many shops i know would do so.
