Painted My Grill!!

hey everyone i just finished my front grill, and i wanted to see what you all thought so here are some pics...







its being held on by zip ties for now (wanted to make sure that i like it before i make it more permanent)

let me know what ya think...

I like it. the mesh looks good. Color is good in my opinion. nicer then stock but I woulda spent the money on a ralliart or evo style.

total cost of this job was $0, had everything i needed at work including a plasma cutter...

looks pretty decent.

you should have used a high gloss paint, and some clearcoat to make it shiny

i did the same thing before unfortunately it will not last long...it chips like crazy hope your city isn't full of to much rocks. definitely consider buying a grill or be prepared to constantly re-spray.

i like it a lot. i think i'm going to do this this week. also, what kind of mesh did you use? and what did you use a plasma cutter for?

the plasma cutter was for cutting the mesh to shape. its not really your typical mesh, more of perferrated sheet metal i guess. dont really know how to esplain it. i was fortunate that my work uses it alot, so they had a ton of scrap pieces just layin around.

thanks for the opininions everybody... i appreciate it. now i need to figure out how i am going to make it stay on without ties.
