so i was thinking if i got my front oz frot lip covered with this cf vinyl it would look pretty good.

just seein if anyone has herd anything about it, its saposed to be pretty flexable and last in weather. what do u guys think?

I think it would be lame..... Theres a company that sells REAL carbon fiber that has an adhesive on the back so you put it on like a sticker. has a clear and everything. I forget the name of the company though. They were at SEMA a couple years back.

Send your lip out to RRM for a couple weeks and get it laid in carbon fiber. That would be the nicest looking, best way to do it. AdamKean had his lip CF'd by someone.

don't use the vinyl. you can have it wrapped and resin'd and it will look much better and hold up better.

that vinyl from decalfx is pretty good for being an imitation. I bought some to do some custom work with, and its very very close when paid on top of the oem wing.

But these guys are right, just get it wrapped in cf or paint it black. Once you stretch this vinyl, it changes the cf pattern...

mitsuozboi was referring to when I had my lip wrapped in CF by Team Prototype in CA. There site is (maybe was, I haven't looked at their site in a LONG time) www.cftype.com .
They charged me around $400 to do it so be ready to pay if you want it real CF. But if you do do it, you'll be only the 2nd person to it....I was the first, lol
Here are some pics if you want an idea of what it looked like.

yes'a. hot lancer adam. loved it. was sad to see it go. $400 sounds reasonable. Might be able to get it done for less.
