looks nice...sort of a knock off greddy Ti right? Not bad except the blue color will fade over time. As far as how much to get it welded on mines costed me $275 for piping from the cat back. Should be around there or less from what ive read. Good luck.

anywhere from 200-300$ for full custom cat back, as for just cutting your old muffler off and having that one welded on 50-75$

You guys are crazy, I had my custom cat back done for $80 at the best exhaust shop in town. Just go by a few shops and ask on pricing. It shouldnt be anywhere near $200.

There was a thread on this awhile back, the AVERAGE was 250$ for a custom cat back exhaust (and this was out of about 50 guys that posted from all over the US), using a resonator and muffler. I dont know what kind of shop you found or what sort of sale but consider yourself extremely lucky.

I will have to say that its going to cost me about 250 to get it done here in OKC and I would also have to say that he didnt get a rez put in soooo didnt have to pay for that. Make sure you get a rezanator put back in or it will sound LOUD and like a over gown weed eater. The honda guys around here like do take the rez out and it sounds like **** to me. Do it right and dont get anything but stainless steal or it will rust out. I have plans of putting that on and may run the silencer with it, depends on how it is, dont want the POPO to get anoyed lol. OOOO and ther is a sound clip somwhere of a MEGAN in the RA section.

Wow...my custom cat-back was $250 including the Magnaflow muffler, which retails for $200.

I think it will be cheaper because I have the muffler already.

Anyway, I might get this installed tomorrow at Midas or Monro, what should I say when I walk-in? I want a cat-back exhaust installed on my car, I already have the muffler? Should I tell them I want 2.25" piping or do they know that, I don't want to sound like a noobie

Then don't sound like a noob.... Decide on what you want, and stick to it. If they suggest otherwise, then ask them their opinion. 2.5 should be good tho. Just for the love of god make sure the resonator is back in.... last thing we need is a Lancer trying to sound like a Honda..... My old BMX did, and all I needed was a baseball card in the spokes...

Is there a resonator already on there? What is it's purpose (just reduce noise?)

I had a megan catback for my evo a while back. The resonator made the car very quiet but necked down to 1.75 inches. Your'll be better off with the stock exhaust if your going to put on the resonator on all the time.
