Dome Light Not Enough?

I have a Lancer ES With out the sunroof, And it feels so dark in there when your are trying to look for something with the one light and all, is there any mod to add another dome light where the sunroof panel should go. Any help will be appreciated.

I got those cheapo LED push lights with batteries and put them on the sides of the center console and one right under the ashtray in the back seat. It makes the floor areas lighted and thats good enough for me.

Hell, he can get one of those motion sensor flood light packages and make it dual purpose... lighting and security!

I have Lancer Sportback LS and the same bad filling about the darkness in it; before. So I bought an ACCESSORY called sunglass holder from Mitsubishipartspeople.com. It is intended for the cars that already have dome/map lights upfront to be replaced by the combination unit lights+sunglass holder. The instruction says: remove and discard old dome/maplights unit by unscrewing two M6 bolts, expand headliner opening ( template included) so the new unit with sunglass holder can fit. It is fixed by two bolts and one screw. I did not have any opening to begin with. So I modified the template, accurately marked the locations for the bolts and screw and taped it to the headliner APPROXIMATELY where it should be. I used thin needle about 4" or longer to check are there any corresponding mounting holes for the bolts and found them. Then cut off part of headliner just to see those mounting location. Then use two 6mm thread 50mm long bolts and long screw to attach template to the headliner EXACTLY and mark the headliner to be cut off.
There is no wire there, but that is not a big deal. Just remove driver A-pillar and sunshade and run wire to the fusebox. I use Add-a-circuit to the wiper fuse.It is much more light now and looks good. Not much use for the sunglass holder yet.

If you're really in a pinch and don't want to do a lot of leg-work, just get a Sylvania Dot-it. They're like $7.00 US and are bright as hell...
